I am TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH NETWORK SOLUTIONS!!! DO NOT---I REPEAT--DO NOT UTILIZE THEIR SERVICE!! I purchased the Standard Package and no sooner than I did this about two months later my father had a stroke which took all of my focus off of my website/business and directed it toward my father and his health. Needless to say, I took the first flight out to be with and assist my father in his recovery process. Anyone who has ever dealt with illness and possible death of someone in your family can attest to the mental drain and strain it puts on you and your family. Well, I am happy to say that my father is doing much better. However, upon my return home, I got in contact with Network Solutions to find out if they could extend the length of my contract because of what happened and they emphatically told me NO they could not extend my contract. I TRULY FIND THIS TO BE HEARTLESS!!! I PAID THEM APPROXIMATELY $160.00 FOR NOTHING---THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND BASICALLY SAID, "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU...TOO BAD...THIS IS NOT OUR PROBLEM." I BELIEVE BEFORE BUSINESS, IN JUST PLAIN OLD HUMAN KINDNESS AND FAIRNESS. I DID NOT EVEN HAVE A CHANCE TO BUILD MY WEBSITE. NOW HONESTLY, DO YOU THINK I WOULD PURPOSELY PURCHASE A WEBSITE AND NOT PUT IT TO GOOD USE IF I DIDN'T HAVE GOOD CAUSE NOT TO?!
NETWORK SOLUTIONS----YOU STINK---WHAT A KIND SUPPORTIVE GROUP OF HUMAN BEINGS YOU ARE---NOT!!! YOU SHOULD REALLY TAKE NOTES AND LEARN FROM THE MASTER OF CUSTOMER SERVICE....STARBUCKS!!! LEARN!!!
They should stick with domain registrations and leave the hosting to others. Their customer service is practically non existant. They could not answer simple questions such as path locations without going on to the next level of support and it took DAYS to hear from the higher level. Their knowledge base links produce one error page after another and if you do finally view pages they have conflicting information on them depending what item you clicked. Their knowledge base articles state to go to the developer for help with one of heir online scripts and the developer's help files do not relate to their hacked version of the script. Truly a hairpulling experience just to get a few simple scripts running.
